Senior ICT Designer (ICT Infrastructure)

Location: Hybrid role based in Dublin, Ireland, with flexible work from different hirify.global offices and site visits.

What you will do

• Manage, coordinate, and produce ICT designs for large-scale projects.
• Design containment, copper and fibre cabling, racks, ICT rooms, LANs, wireless systems, AV, and related power, cooling, earthing, fire stopping, and suppression systems.
• Support projects from concept through construction, including site visits, ICT system walkdowns, and punch-list generation.
• Prepare ICT packages for bids, approvals, and construction issue.
• Analyse complex engineering problems and develop effective solutions.
• Participate in client and internal meetings and support fee and capital budget proposals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of formal experience in ICT engineering design.
• Engineering degree or equivalent is desirable.
• Chartered engineer status or progress toward chartership.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of specifications and contract documents.
• Awareness of American and European telecommunications industry standards.
• Professional approach with a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental protection, and ethical business practices.

Nice to have

• RCDD certification.
• CNET certification such as CDCDP or CNIDP.
• Experience working in a BIM environment with Revit, Navisworks, or AutoCAD.
• Experience developing FEED, concept, basis-of-design, and detailed-design documentation.
