TL;DR
Network Engineer - Test (Intern) (Networking): Designing and testing network topologies and networking products with an accent on routing, switching, protocols, automation, and structured testing. Focus on writing test plans, diagnosing defects, validating fixes, and evaluating functionality, performance, stability, scalability, and interoperability.
Location: Dublin, Ireland; 6-month onsite internship with a full-time schedule

What you will do
- Design and test network topologies with guidance from a dedicated mentor.
- Validate product functionality, performance, stability, scalability, reliability, and interoperability.
- Write and execute test plans covering features and products.
- Identify defects and validate their resolution.
- Review test plans and identify customer-centric use cases.
Requirements
- Pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of core networking protocols and strong interest in network engineering.
- Familiarity with scripting, such as Python.
- Basic understanding of Linux.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland; work visa sponsorship is not provided.
