Senior BI Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel; hybrid model with 3 days per week in the office

What you will do

• Own analytics foundations end to end, from raw data through data models and semantic layers.
• Design and evolve scalable data pipelines and BI infrastructure.
• Turn ambiguous business questions into clear, governed metrics for Product, GTM, and Finance.
• Partner with Data Science and business stakeholders on high-impact analytics initiatives.
• Improve data quality, performance, observability, and trust at scale.
• Mentor colleagues, establish engineering standards, and lead by example.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in BI or Data Engineering roles involving scalable data platforms.
• Deep experience with modern data stacks, including Snowflake or Databricks and dbt.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills, including data quality, CI/CD, and observability.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, and semantic layers.
• Experience with Airflow and large-scale data processing.
• Hands-on experience using GenAI tools in day-to-day development workflows is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka or Spark.
