Senior Product Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end projects from discovery and solution design to rollout and monitoring.
• Influence risk assessment strategies, measurement metrics, and automation logic for payment operations.
• Balance risk protection measures with the user experience for legitimate organizers.
• Own the reliability of shipped systems and participate in on-call rotations.
• Mentor team members on AI-driven development workflows and engineering best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product engineering experience, including 4+ years in risk, fraud, or underwriting systems.
• Deep expertise in financial systems such as credit models, decision engines, reserves, and transaction monitoring.
• Strong backend mastery in Ruby on Rails, Kotlin, Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
• Direct production on-call experience, including incident response and post-mortems.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration in a distributed environment.
• Pragmatic approach to using AI tools for engineering optimization.
