Calibration Engineer (Automotive)

hirify.global Iberica develops and tests mobility and propulsion technologies across internal combustion engines, e-mobility, hydrogen, autonomous and connected driving, software, and simulation.

What you will do

• Perform powertrain calibration for on-board diagnostics and on-board monitoring.
• Develop calibration and automation methodologies to improve the calibration process.
• Prepare chassis dynamometer and engine bench tests and analyze the results.
• Conduct road testing for real-driving validation, including summer and winter test trips.
• Report project progress to the team leader and client.

Requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience is desirable.
• Knowledge of powertrain systems and engines.
• Good English level required.
• Driving license required.
• Responsibility, goal orientation, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python and MATLAB.
• Master’s degree.
• German language skills.
• Formula Student or similar extracurricular experience.
