Forward Deployment Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Own AI deployments end-to-end, from customer discovery and workflow mapping through solution design, implementation, testing, and production launch.
• Work directly with enterprise customers to identify high-value automation opportunities and translate business problems into practical AI agent solutions.
• Design and configure agentic workflows using Beam’s Agent OS, including prompt engineering, testing, and optimization.
• Build and coordinate API-based integrations with customer systems and client-side technical teams.
• Manage delivery across technical teams, executives, and other stakeholders while keeping projects on track.
• Partner with product, engineering, and ML teams to address platform gaps and turn customer insights into product improvements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Deployment Engineer, or Customer Engineer.
• Strong project management and communication skills, including explaining technical concepts to engineers and executives.
• Demonstrated prompt engineering expertise in production or near-production environments.
• Solid API knowledge and experience coordinating integrations with external systems.
• Analytical, process-driven thinking with the ability to structure complex business workflows into automation solutions.

Nice to have

• Background in AI/ML or hands-on experience applying AI to business workflows.
