Global Finance Analyst CAPEX Intern

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam; must be based in the Netherlands for the entire 6-month internship. EU working rights are required.

Allowance: €625 per month for 40 hours and 5 days per week, plus full reimbursement of travel expenses.

What you will do

• Generate and analyze financial reports for the Global entity across all business zones.
• Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual CAPEX forecast files and prepare performance and forecast review presentations.
• Support CAPEX budgeting, forecasting, monthly closing, financial reviews, and management reporting.
• Build financial analyses, models, and scenarios for the Head of SCF, CAPEX lead, and Global executives.
• Identify process improvements, recommend changes, and help implement more efficient finance processes.
• Act as the point of contact for the CAPEX management tool and support related IT enhancements.

Requirements

• Enrolled at a European university for the full duration of the internship and completing the final stage of a Bachelor's degree or pursuing a Master's degree.
• Academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Computer Science, Econometrics, or Mathematics.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivots, lookups, and creating templates, plus strong PowerPoint skills.
• Good written and spoken English; EU working rights required through EU citizenship or current study in the Netherlands.
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
• Interest in Supply Chain and Logistics.
