Research Manager (Gas & LNG)

What you will do

• Lead and develop Research Analysts and Associates focused on Gas & LNG.
• Build a strong talent pipeline and support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and professional development.
• Set team goals and collaborate with the Head of the Commodities Global Analyst Team and other Research Managers.
• Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of the Gas & LNG research programme.
• Coordinate resources, capabilities, and schedules with Assets and Markets Research managers.
• Identify development opportunities across Consulting, Product, Sales, and other functions.

Requirements

• Three to five years of management experience leading a small- to mid-sized team.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in the energy and natural resources industries, including familiarity with the energy transition.
• Strong analytical and commercial judgment, with the ability to evaluate data, market intelligence, supply-demand balances, cost curves, and price forecasts.
• Experience leading through change, improving ways of working, and delivering through a matrix structure.
• Knowledge of Gas & LNG markets sufficient to challenge analysis and maintain quality standards.
