Research Fellow, Medicinal Chemistry

Location: Oxford, United Kingdom; five days per week on-site

What you will do

• Lead the design of small-molecule targets across drug discovery projects.
• Drive best practices in molecular design and medicinal chemistry across the project portfolio.
• Apply AI methodologies to key medicinal chemistry and small-molecule drug discovery challenges.
• Interpret data and provide recommendations to project teams while maintaining high standards of data integrity.
• Coordinate publication and patent submissions.
• Teach and develop employees in medicinal chemistry.

Requirements

• Recognized expertise and leadership in medicinal chemistry, including a strong record of project contributions.
• Deep understanding of the small-molecule drug discovery process.
• Strong judgment, initiative, and thorough methodology in molecular design.
• Ph.D. or equivalent in chemistry or a related science with relevant post-doctoral experience, or a master's or bachelor's degree with relevant employment experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Oxford five days per week, with ad hoc flexibility.
