Computational Biologist (Precision Oncology)

Location: Hybrid, office-based in Salt Lake City, Utah or New York, New York; at least 50% of the time in the office

What you will do

• Integrate phenomics, transcriptomics, genomics, and proteomics datasets for early drug discovery.
• Nominate novel therapeutic targets and validate disease biology.
• Define precision oncology strategies for advancing therapeutic targets into drug discovery programs.
• Develop and scale methods for target discovery, validation, early translational de-risking, and mechanism-of-action identification.
• Develop agentic target packages in collaboration with computational scientists.
• Partner with biologists, chemists, data scientists, platform and data engineers, and translational experts.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in biotech or pharma early drug discovery.
• Experience relevant to computational biology, target discovery, disease biology, or precision oncology.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across biology, chemistry, data science, engineering, and translational functions.
• Ability to work from the Salt Lake City or New York office at least 50% of the time.
