Research Associate (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Support the manufacture, assembly, and quality control of products across the Conjugation, Kits, and Accessories portfolio.
• Perform LN2 snap-freezing, antibody conjugation, protein desalting, and related laboratory procedures.
• Conduct Direct and Sandwich ELISA quality control assays and lateral flow assays, accurately recording and reporting results.
• Perform assay trend analysis to identify deviations, monitor performance, and support quality assurance.
• Maintain experimental and inventory records using Batch Manufacturing Records, laboratory notebooks, and Oracle ERP.
• Support continuous improvement of manufacturing processes while following SOPs and ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent, with hands-on laboratory experience.
• Practical experience with pipetting and liquid handling, reagent and buffer preparation, sample handling, and data recording.
• Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to laboratory-based work.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate or work independently.
• Familiarity with GLP, laboratory safety, COSHH regulations, and SOP-based work is desirable.

Nice to have

• Experience using an ERP system.
• Experience operating an ÄKTA system, including Unicorn method editing or writing.
• Experience in an industrial setting, particularly under ISO 9001 standards.
