Senior Process Engineer (Chemical Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Lead the design, sizing, implementation, and optimization of process technologies and equipment.
• Industrialize and scale up natural ingredient technologies from laboratory and pilot scale to commercial manufacturing.
• Lead supplier selection, equipment qualification, FAT/SAT activities, commissioning, and start-up projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assess technological solutions for future business needs.
• Develop engineering documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, SOPs, technical specifications, and calculations.
• Collaborate with R&D, Operations, Engineering teams, suppliers, and external partners on capital projects and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of process engineering experience in the chemical, ingredients, pharmaceutical, fragrance, flavor, or related industries.
• Strong expertise in process design and scale-up, including distillation, evaporation, extraction, filtration, and crystallization.
• Experience with heat transfer, fluid dynamics, hydraulic calculations, process equipment design, automation, and industrial process control.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems, process safety, and industrial compliance.
• Fluent English is required; French is highly desirable.
