V.I.E. - Plant Quality Deputy (Manufacturing)

Location: Asenovgrad, Bulgaria; onsite at the manufacturing plant

What you will do

• Support the Plant Quality Manager as a technical deputy and partner.
• Implement and optimize statistical process control, define process parameters, and use quality data to improve production decisions.
• Conduct process capability studies, identify process vulnerabilities, and build improvement roadmaps using FMEA, design of experiments, and regression analysis.
• Lead root cause analysis for major deviations and quality escapes while supporting projects that reduce variation and improve yield.
• Develop and improve quality procedures, work instructions, control plans, calibration routines, and measurement system analyses.
• Participate in new product introduction, process qualification, audits, and cross-functional quality initiatives with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain.

Requirements

• Master’s or engineering degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Materials Science, or Manufacturing Engineering.
• Recent graduate or candidate with relevant industrial, quality, or manufacturing experience through internships, apprenticeships, or projects.
• Knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001; exposure to ISO/TS 16949 is valuable.
• Knowledge of 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and basic statistics, with intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory.
• Willingness and motivation to learn Bulgarian; applicants must meet V.I.E. age, European Economic Area nationality, service-obligation, medical, and criminal-record requirements.

Nice to have

• Understanding of manufacturing processes such as pressing, grinding, and silk printing.
• Exposure to ISO/TS 16949.
