Staff Product Testing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Shah Alam, Malaysia; onsite role with no remote work available

What you will do

• Review low-yield production lots, determine disposition, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factories, and OSAT partners to resolve production issues.
• Perform sustaining activities, including EQA hold-rate reduction and SYL/SBL sustaining, to support delivery fulfillment.
• Qualify and validate new products, migrate tester platforms, and conduct related engineering activities.
• Lead yield-improvement and gross-margin improvement initiatives.
• Support system integration and overall device quality and manufacturability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 7 years of experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in test product engineering, test engineering, or product engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, and power products; test methodology; failure analysis; reliability testing; and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with statistical data-analysis tools such as JMP or Spotfire.
• Strong communication and project-management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with module devices.
• Visual Basic or C++ programming experience.
• Experience with ATE tester platforms such as Teradyne ETS364/Flex or Advantest.
