Lead Technical Recruiter (AI/ML)

Location: Remote, China; address in Beijing, China.

What you will do

• Lead high-priority technical searches across AI/ML, engineering leadership, backend, infrastructure, web, and mobile.
• Build search strategies and talent maps for scarce technical talent across global AI and engineering markets.
• Source, engage, assess, and close senior and difficult-to-hire candidates.
• Define hiring profiles and calibrate interview standards with engineering leadership.
• Coach technical recruiters on sourcing, profile assessment, candidate engagement, and closing.
• Review recruiting data, improve pipeline quality, and develop repeatable practices that increase hiring quality and speed.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical recruiting experience, including ownership of senior and difficult engineering searches.
• Strong record of hiring high-quality engineers through direct sourcing and headhunting.
• Deep familiarity with technical talent markets and software engineering and AI/ML profiles.
• Ability to assess technical depth and relevance beyond branding, titles, or CV keywords.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leaders on hiring strategy and calibration.
• Experience coaching recruiters, with strong judgment, urgency, and a hands-on approach.
