IT Support (FIFO)

Location: Perth, Western Australia, Australia; FIFO from WA to a remote mining site

Salary: AUD 60–80 per hour plus superannuation

hirify.global is recruiting for a contract IT support role serving a large mining operation.

What you will do

• Deliver Level 2/3 IT support across a remote mining site.
• Support desktops, laptops, peripherals, and end-user environments.
• Troubleshoot networking, communications, wireless, and connectivity issues.
• Provide basic server, storage, infrastructure, maintenance, monitoring, and fault-resolution support.
• Work with Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless systems.
• Escalate complex issues and collaborate with wider technical teams while maintaining documentation and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous FIFO experience is essential.
• Strong Level 2/3 IT support experience across desktop support, networking, communications, servers, and general infrastructure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in remote, hot, and challenging site conditions.
• Three-month initial contract, with extension based on performance.

Nice to have

• Mining or remote-site experience.
• Exposure to Cisco, Dell, Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, and wireless technologies.
• OT or industrial technology experience.
