Location: New Jersey, United States, focused on South Jersey/Trenton and assigned hospital accounts

Salary: $65,000–$118,000 base pay annually

What you will do

  • Sell Ethicon surgical devices and solutions to surgeons, hospital decision makers, and healthcare professionals.
  • Grow energy and endomechanical platforms within an assigned physician and hospital territory.
  • Demonstrate proper product use to clinicians in operating-room settings and provide customer education.
  • Manage account priorities, analyze sales opportunities, build business plans, and deliver territory forecasts.
  • Conduct compliant, ethical, and persuasive sales presentations while addressing customer questions and objections.
  • Develop relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, authorized distributors, colleagues, and key opinion leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in medical-device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare sales, with demonstrated achievement of sales objectives.
  • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States.
  • Ability to work with surgeons, hospital systems, clinicians, and other highly educated healthcare customers.
  • Ability to work in operating-room environments and comply with healthcare, product-safety, and professional-ethics requirements.

Nice to have

  • Hospital-based pharmaceutical or medical-device sales experience, especially operating-room sales.
  • Experience targeting accounts, executing daily action plans, developing new markets, and delivering growth against plan.
  • Strong time management, planning, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience collaborating with peers, marketing, strategic account managers, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
