TL;DR
Executive Oncology Sales Representative – Head & Neck (Vegas, Utah, Southwest) (Oncology/Pharmaceutical Sales): Selling oncology therapeutics across the Southwest territory with an accent on clinical product knowledge, account strategy, reimbursement options, and customer-specific sales planning. Focus on penetrating hospital and large accounts, supporting complex access and reimbursement discussions, and achieving sales objectives through compliant field-based engagement.

Location: El Paso, Texas, United States; territory includes New Mexico, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Utah. Candidates must reside in the geography or be willing to relocate to it. Field-based role with travel, including possible overnight and weekend travel.

Base pay: $111,000–$178,250 per year.

What you will do

  • Sell current and new oncology therapeutics within approved specialties and customer accounts.
  • Explain clinical efficacy, product value, and approved clinical information to customers.
  • Analyze accounts, prospect for new business, and develop territory and account strategies with the District Manager and internal partners.
  • Create pre-call and post-call plans and use approved marketing materials and presentations.
  • Build relationships with hospitals and large accounts, address access and reimbursement options, negotiate sales, and close orders.
  • Report to a District Manager while working toward territory sales objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • At least two years of successful pharmaceutical, biologic/biotech, or medical device sales experience, or recent transition from active-duty military service.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed, including overnight and weekend travel.
  • Residence in the assigned geography or willingness to relocate to it.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, customer focus, sales planning, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

  • Specialty sales experience and knowledge of solid tumor and oncology markets.
  • Hospital and large-account sales experience.
  • Experience handling complex reimbursement issues and Medicare Part D.
  • Documented success in competitive sales environments.
  • Commitment to learning emerging technologies such as AI.
