QC Control Supervisor (Electrical Manufacturing)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States. The role is temporarily based in Northeast San Antonio and will permanently move to Brooks, 7515 Inner Circle Dr., San Antonio. 100% in-office; remote work is not available.

What you will do

• Lead daily activities of QC leads, team coordinators, inspectors, and test technicians across multiple product lines.
• Coordinate testing and inspection priorities with production schedules and cross-functional partners.
• Oversee hipot, megger, torque, functional, continuity, and other required electrical tests.
• Verify testing records, inspection forms, data sheets, and digital entries for accuracy and completeness.
• Support root-cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions, escalation procedures, and continuous improvement.
• Maintain test equipment readiness through calibration, safety checks, proper storage, and performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Technical degree, associate degree, bachelor's degree, or certification preferred; alternatively, five years of relevant manufacturing experience.
• At least two years of direct supervisory experience in production, engineering, warehouse, or quality functions within a manufacturing or plant environment.
• Experience with measuring and test equipment, electrical testing, QC processes, inspection documentation, and test-failure analysis.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, NFPA, UL, and CSA compliance requirements.
• Ability to work in a shop or warehouse environment, continuously lift up to 50 pounds, and perform bending, squatting, climbing, and extended standing or walking.

• Lean manufacturing and process-improvement experience.
• Experience with ETQ Reliance or Infor Syteline ERP systems.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
