Product Engineer Intern (AI)

Location: Hybrid role based in San Francisco, with 3 days per week in the office

Salary: $11,000 per month plus a housing stipend

What you will do

• Build and ship product features across the stack using React, TypeScript, and/or Python.
• Collaborate with AI engineers to prototype agentic capabilities, develop prompting strategies, and improve model quality.
• Design and improve workflows for collaborative editing, data exploration, debugging, and AI-assisted development.
• Address performance, front-end user experience, and API design challenges for AI-driven features.
• Participate in the full development lifecycle from ideation and design through testing and launch.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with graduation planned for December 2026 or 2027.
• Full-stack engineering experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Python, demonstrated through academic, personal, or professional projects.
• Interest in AI-driven product experiences, AI agents, prompting strategies, and context engineering.
• Strong user focus and interest in translating technical systems into polished, intuitive experiences.
• Ability to collaborate, ask questions, adapt to changing priorities, and learn from senior engineers.
• Availability to work from the San Francisco office 3 days per week
