TL;DR
Dedicated Case Coordinator (Patient Access) (specialty pharmaceuticals and reimbursement): Managing end-to-end patient access cases for prescribed products, from HUB enrollment and benefits investigation through prior authorization, fulfillment, and post-fill follow-up, with an accent on reimbursement, coverage, and patient communication. Focus on coordinating payers, patients, providers, HUB partners, and vendors while maintaining compliant documentation, copay and Interim Care administration, and adverse event reporting.

Location: United States, Georgia — remote from home five days a week. Eastern Time Zone; approximately 10–20% travel. Permanent U.S. work authorization is required.

Annual base salary: $162,900–$271,500, plus a 20% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do

  • Own assigned patient cases from HUB enrollment through post-fill follow-up.
  • Conduct benefits investigation and verification, explain coverage and out-of-pocket costs, and support prior authorization and appeals.
  • Coordinate patient appointments, baseline assessments, testing, vouchers, Interim Care, copay support, and prescription fulfillment.
  • Act as the primary contact for patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, payers, HUB partners, and third-party vendors.
  • Manage case records, documentation, secure communications, consents, and prescription triage in Polaris and related systems.
  • Report adverse events and maintain compliant, confidential communication throughout the patient journey.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of pharmaceutical or related customer-facing experience.
  • At least six months of experience in access and reimbursement, such as FRM, PAC, FAS, or a similar role, including work with Polaris CRM.
  • Experience with benefits investigation and verification, prior authorization, appeals, copay programs, vouchers, and Interim Care or free-goods programs.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of concurrent cases with accurate documentation and follow-through.
  • Experience communicating directly with patients, healthcare providers, payers, and cross-functional colleagues.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with patient hubs, specialty pharmacies, or third-party vendors such as IQVIA/MDX or Sonexus.
  • Experience with Kiteworks, DocuSign, copay portals, patient assessments, or pharmacy and major medical benefit pathways.
