Intern/Co-op - HES&S Environmental (Summer 2027)

Location: Findlay, Ohio, or one of the listed U.S. locations; on-site, 40 hours per week

Salary: $24.09–$43.23 per hour

What you will do

• Interpret and develop environmental policies, guidelines, procedures, and compliance programs.
• Support environmental compliance monitoring, reporting, budgeting, permits, and recommendations.
• Review environmental engineering designs, cost estimates, specifications, and equipment requirements.
• Investigate environmental issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Track environmental legislation, regulatory agency actions, standards, and technological developments.
• Develop environmental information, manuals, training materials, and employee training sessions.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Science.
• Must remain enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program throughout the internship.
• Strong academic performance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
• Must work on site 40 hours per week and provide reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must safely climb stairs or ladders, lift or carry up to 50 pounds, and hold a valid driver's license for work-related travel.
