Sr Product Testing Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Kulim, Malaysia; onsite only

What you will do

• Review low-yield production lots and determine appropriate dispositions.
• Drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and yield improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factories, and OSAT partners to resolve production issues.
• Execute sustaining activities to reduce lot rejection and EQA hold rates and support delivery fulfillment.
• Qualify and validate new products, tester platform migrations, and related engineering changes.
• Support gross margin improvement through yield enhancement and system integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in test product engineering, test engineering, or product engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog, digital, or power products, test methodologies, failure analysis, reliability testing, and root-cause analysis.
• Proficiency with statistical data analysis tools such as JMP or Spotfire.
• Strong communication skills for working with people at all levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with module devices.
• Visual Basic or C++ programming experience.
• Experience with ATE tester platforms such as Teradyne ETS364, Teradyne Flex, or Advantest.
