Portfolio Manager I (Digital Assets)

What you will do

• Analyze, structure, underwrite, and coordinate the onboarding of blockchain and digital asset business deposit accounts.
• Interface with clients alongside the Vice President and Commercial Banker to assess credit needs and determine appropriate financing structures.
• Gather and analyze information for financing requests submitted with the Relationship Manager to senior management or the Loan Committee.
• Coordinate approved loan processing, documentation, servicing, and compliance with customer agreements and bank lending policies.
• Monitor customer and sector-related risks while managing new loan requests and existing Relationship Manager portfolios.
• Maintain strong customer service and ensure compliance with bank policies and applicable state and federal banking regulations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related portfolio management or similar banking experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of banking operations, including deposits, loan administration, treasury management, and commercial banking products.
• Entry-level to intermediate knowledge of regulatory and legal compliance obligations, industry standards, commercial credit, loan structuring, and pricing dynamics.
• Completed credit analyst training and intermediate written and verbal communication skills.
• Work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Experience with digital assets, including blockchain, Bitcoin, or cryptocurrency.
• Commercial banking portfolio management experience.
• Knowledge of KYC processes.
