Location: In office at 400 Park Avenue, New York, New York, US

Salary: $53.56–$91.22 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

  • Manage an assigned credit portfolio in alignment with organizational goals, credit risk practices, and the bank’s risk appetite.
  • Underwrite credit exposures and analyze borrower and guarantor financial statements, tax returns, projections, and cash flow pro formas.
  • Prepare underwriting memorandums, approval documents, and comprehensive credit recommendations for Credit Risk and other key risk partners.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk ratings, reporting covenants, covenant compliance, and quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers, clients, and cross-functional teams to structure credit solutions and support client needs.
  • Mentor junior colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement, and participate in joint sales pitches and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in relevant industries.
  • Intermediate experience in credit management and lending operations, with a strong understanding of risk management principles.
  • Intermediate analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in the designated office location in New York.
