Senior Engineer - Generation & Storage

Location: Hybrid role based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

What you will do

• Prepare engineering reviews, designs, calculations, technical studies, and advisory deliverables for generation and storage projects.
• Work across prefeasibility, concept design, planning approvals, tender evaluation, detailed design reviews, construction support, and commissioning.
• Review technical documentation, coordinate verification activities, and work within established engineering standards and processes.
• Identify design discrepancies and solve technical and project delivery issues with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Support quality, safety, digital innovation, and client satisfaction across project delivery.
• Mentor graduate and early-career engineers and contribute to their technical development.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of engineering experience on renewable energy projects across multiple technologies and OEMs.
• Electrical engineering or renewable energy engineering qualification, with knowledge of AC and DC electrical balance of plant systems, equipment, and project interfaces.
• Experience with wind, solar, and battery storage projects; hybrid project experience is highly regarded.
• Ability to independently plan and complete detailed engineering, technical advisory, design, site inspection, modelling, calculation, and workshop coordination work.
• Strong communication, proactive problem-solving, and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Registered or working toward professional registration on Australia’s National Engineering Register, ideally with CPEng or equivalent international accreditation.
