Mid Level Software Engineer (Java/Angular)

Location: United States; U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance with a favorable polygraph are required.

Salary: $130,000–$270,000 annually.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements and design, develop, test, and maintain Java and Angular applications.
• Design and support RESTful APIs, service integrations, and data access components for relational databases.
• Support Spring Boot migration, database modernization, microservices, and containerization initiatives.
• Deploy and support containerized applications in Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, troubleshooting, technical design, and continuous process improvement.
• Develop automated tests, support CI/CD pipelines, maintain documentation, and provide backup database administration.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen and currently hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph.
• At least seven years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience with Java enterprise applications, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful APIs, and relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB.
• Experience with Docker or Podman, Kubernetes, Helm, cloud-native architectures, and platforms such as Rancher, Amazon EKS, or OpenShift.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD, automated testing, DevSecOps, Jira, Confluence, Agile environments, and structured data formats such as XML and JSON.
