Automotive Service Advisor / Writer (Automotive)

Location: 1220 E. 9th Street, Lockport, Illinois, United States. On-site, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; closed weekends.

Salary: Up to $75,000+ annually, including base pay and variable incentives.

What you will do

• Greet guests and guide them through the vehicle repair process.
• Explain repair solutions clearly and honestly, sell services, and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage store workflow and coordinate customer service activities in a high-volume environment.
• Communicate with guests by phone and through digital platforms, including AI tools.
• Build long-term customer relationships and shuttle guests in a company vehicle when needed.
• Coordinate with employees and help ensure repairs meet proper specifications.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in automotive customer service, service writing, advising, or sales.
• Current driver's license and a driving record acceptable to the insurance carrier.
• Proficiency with Windows-based software, automotive store applications, tablets, and smartphones.
• Dependability and availability for the Monday–Friday schedule.
• Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday, occasionally lift over 50 pounds, and maintain a brisk pace.
