Senior Software Engineer (Python/Vue)

What you will do

• Design and build reliable, performant APIs and services in Python with Flask and FastAPI.
• Own Celery-based asynchronous and scheduled workloads for data ingestion, enrichment, and long-running intelligence-product jobs.
• Build responsive front-end experiences in Vue in collaboration with product and design.
• Lead architecture decisions, technical direction, and engineering standards.
• Review code, mentor engineers, and improve testing, observability, and overall quality.
• Translate ambiguous problems into shipped features across design, development, deployment, and monitoring.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production web applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with Flask, FastAPI, Django, or a similar modern web framework.
• Hands-on experience with Celery, RQ, or an equivalent asynchronous task-processing system and queue-based architectures.
• Front-end experience with Vue, React, or Angular, with willingness to work in Vue.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases, REST API design, and maintainable, well-tested code.
• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, deployment automation, and collaborative technical leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Actions for continuous integration and automated deployments.
