Senior Software Engineer, Full-Stack (Python/Vue)

Location: Remote within the United States; Miami, Florida is listed as a location. Hiring locations are limited by job function, and relocation or extended travel may not be supported.

Salary: $140,000–$170,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Build user-facing features for the Public Relations Management platform.
• Work on major technical projects involving large data volumes.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and designers.
• Help ensure that customer-facing content meets quality and usability expectations.
• Contribute to engineering culture, development processes, testing, continuous integration, and frequent deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with Django or a similar framework.
• Proficiency with Vue or a similar framework.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ability to write readable, testable, maintainable code and manage complexity in large projects.
• Ability to work from an acceptable hiring location within the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch.
• Experience with Celery.
• Experience with complex, high-traffic sites, large datasets, startups, or SaaS companies.
• Interest in journalism, news, media, or social media.
