TL;DR
Frontend Engineer (React/TypeScript): Building and maintaining interactive web applications with an accent on component-driven architecture, responsive visual design, and integration with RESTful APIs. Focus on developing unit tests, improving performance and reliability, implementing CI build and test scripts, and applying secure engineering practices across the full development lifecycle.
What you will do
- Build, enhance, document, test, and maintain interactive web applications.
- Translate business objectives and UX goals into effective frontend solutions using modern development practices.
- Design component-driven interfaces and integrate applications with RESTful APIs and related systems.
- Collaborate with UX, quality engineering, architecture, security, and cross-functional teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform code reviews, root-cause analysis, and performance and reliability improvements.
- Create configuration, build, continuous integration, and test scripts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience coding or designing web applications.
- Expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ECMAScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
- Strong experience with React, web components, progressive web applications, and component-driven architecture.
- Experience with unit testing libraries such as Jest, React Testing Library, Mocha, or Chai.
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack or Rollup and with RESTful API integration.
- Strong systems analysis, design, quality assurance, integration, problem-solving, and object-oriented programming skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with web analytics and advanced CSS development.
- Understanding of Micro Frontend architecture and familiarity with StencilJS.
- Experience with cloud platforms and AWS or web server configurations.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools and methodologies, preferably Jenkins.
