AI and Business Management - Associate

Location: Hong Kong, China; office-based Monday through Thursday with remote work flexibility on Friday

What you will do

• Design, implement, and optimize KPIs and reporting frameworks to improve operational performance and decision-making.
• Lead strategic planning across APAC, including market penetration, client targeting, acquisition opportunities, product delivery, forecasting, and process improvement.
• Execute strategic and AI-driven initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Analyze asset and wealth management industry trends, including private markets, and present findings to senior management.
• Prepare business updates, research papers, presentations, speeches, and panel discussion materials for APAC leadership.
• Act as an analytics partner for non-technical stakeholders and advise on metric tracking and instrumentation.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials in Finance or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or business management.
• Strong understanding of finance and proven ability to use data to structure problems and drive business decisions.
• Experience in asset and wealth management, ideally with exposure to private markets.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships, challenge existing approaches, and develop actionable strategic recommendations.
• Ability to work in the Hong Kong office Monday through Thursday.

Nice to have

• Operating experience at a hypergrowth startup.
• Exposure to analytics automation, AI-enabled tools, or machine-learning concepts.
• Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or Korean.
• Experience with Salesforce.
