Senior Business Analyst, Investment Technology

Location: Hong Kong, Hong Kong; hybrid schedule with work in the designated office at least four days per week and one day outside an hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Deliver and support investment technology solutions across applications, system integrations, data platforms, and architecture enhancements.
• Translate business and data requirements from portfolio managers, traders, operations, compliance, and technology teams into functional specifications and development tasks.
• Enable the full Agile project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, implementation, and rollout.
• Provide production support for critical investment applications and interfaces, including root cause analysis.
• Identify process gaps and drive scalable system, workflow, operational, automation, and AI-enabled improvements.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery, report progress, and escalate project risks and issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Investment Business Analyst, Product Support Analyst, or in a similar role.
• 2+ years supporting investment teams, including portfolio managers and traders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with OMS platforms such as Aladdin or Charles River.
• Knowledge of investment data, securities, ETFs, trade lifecycle processes, and regional market practices.
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and adopting emerging technologies, including GenAI.

• AWS or cloud platform knowledge.
