Hedge Fund Finance - Vice President (Hedge Fund Accounting)

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. Hybrid schedule with office work Monday–Thursday and remote work flexibility on Friday.

Salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year, plus equity for full-time employees and an annual performance bonus.

hirify.global’s Hedge Fund Finance team manages accounting, administration, and reporting processes for private equity and hedge fund feeder funds.

What you will do

• Lead and manage a portfolio of private equity and hedge fund feeder funds.
• Support new business implementation and fund launches, including reviewing LPA, PPM, and operational questionnaire documentation.
• Review monthly and quarterly NAV statements, partners’ capital account statements, capital call and distribution analyses, investor allocations, and notices.
• Participate in management-level meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor compliance with partnership operating agreement terms and oversee annual financial statements prepared under US GAAP.
• Partner with Technology and Product teams to improve automation, efficiency, and periodic reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 10–15 years of fund management accounting and operations experience focused on alternative investments.
• Experience with fund accounting, administration, reporting, and operational processes.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work from the Salt Lake City office Monday–Thursday.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or progress toward an MBA.
• CPA, CFA, or CAIA designation or progress toward one.
• Interest in applying innovative technology to finance operations.
