Technology Supplier & Cost Management Specialist (Technology Finance)

What you will do

• Govern and provide end-to-end visibility into technology expenditure across software, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, and professional services.
• Develop spend forecasts, financial models, dashboards, and executive reporting for budgeting and decision-making.
• Build business cases and commercial evaluations using TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
• Lead supplier negotiations, contract renewals, governance frameworks, and performance reviews.
• Identify and deliver cost optimization initiatives while tracking realized and sustainable savings.
• Collaborate with Technology, Finance, Procurement, Legal, and Business stakeholders on sourcing and investment decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in Technology Finance, IT Commercial Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Technology Cost Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing significant technology spend portfolios and delivering measurable cost optimization outcomes in large enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in technology spend management, financial planning and analysis, commercial modelling, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis, Power Query, and Pivot Tables.
• Strategic thinking, commercial acumen, analytical capability, stakeholder management, influencing skills, and executive communication.

Nice to have

• Power BI experience.
• MBA, CIPS, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
