TL;DR
Finance Analyst (Accounting/Finance): Supporting financial operations for Middle East and Africa entities through payments administration, accounting, reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and decision support with an accent on SAP-based processing, month-end close, VAT, and financial controls. Focus on validating complex payment flows, resolving reconciliation issues, improving finance processes, and developing broader regional ownership.
Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role may require visits to offices in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Germany.

What you will do
- Administer supplier, employee, intercompany, and other approved payments, including expense claims and payment batches.
- Validate invoices, purchase orders, approvals, bank details, contractual terms, and policy compliance before payment release.
- Perform bank account reconciliations and resolve unmatched items, outstanding transactions, and cash-book differences.
- Support month-end close through general-ledger reconciliations, accruals, schedules, analysis, and P&L reporting.
- Prepare or support VAT returns, statutory audits, internal audits, and related documentation.
- Partner with Sales, Commercial, Projects, and Service teams while improving, standardizing, or automating finance processes and cash-flow forecasting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Approximately 1–5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, audit, or controlling.
- Hands-on ERP experience; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, logical formulas, and data reconciliation.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Ownership, analytical judgment, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Power Query, Power BI, or finance automation.
- Progress toward ACCA, CIMA, CA, CPA, CMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Readiness to take on broader regional finance responsibilities.
