What you will do
- Govern technology expenditure across software, cloud, infrastructure, telecom, managed services, and professional services.
- Develop spend forecasts, financial models, dashboards, and executive reporting for budgeting and decision-making.
- Build technology investment business cases using TCO, ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis.
- Lead commercial negotiations, contract renewals, supplier governance, and performance reviews.
- Identify and deliver cost optimization initiatives while tracking sustainable savings and value realization.
- Use data analytics to identify spend anomalies, supplier risks, cost reduction opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in Technology Finance, IT Commercial Management, Vendor Management, Strategic Sourcing, Technology Cost Management, or a related field.
- Experience managing significant technology spend portfolios and delivering measurable cost optimization outcomes.
- Experience with technology procurement, software licensing, cloud and infrastructure cost management, supplier negotiations, and executive-level reporting in large enterprises.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modelling, forecasting, scenario analysis, Power Query, and Pivot Tables.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability, stakeholder management, influencing skills, executive communication, and results orientation.
Nice to have
- Power BI experience.
- MBA, CIPS, CFA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
