Site Buyer (Supply Chain/Procurement)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; project-site based with 2–3 months of training at the Dubai office

What you will do

• Identify, qualify, and maintain relationships with commodity and service suppliers.
• Prepare contract documents, bidder lists, and requests for quotation.
• Evaluate bids and issue purchase orders for project materials, services, commodity items, and finished goods.
• Negotiate small- to medium-value regional and international purchase orders while meeting cost and schedule targets.
• Support procurement evaluations, awards, conforming processes, estimating, and proposal pricing.
• Resolve straightforward vendor claims and disputes and improve procurement tools, systems, and software.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• BA or BS degree in Supply Chain, Business, Technical or Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, databases, and MS Office.
• Understanding of contract terms and conditions, cost-benefit analysis, and value-based decision-making.
• Strong communication, organization, multitasking, problem-solving, adaptability, and agility.
• Ability to work at the Abu Dhabi project site and complete 2–3 months of training at the Dubai office.

Nice to have

• EPC industry experience.
• Experience with JD Edwards software.
