TL;DR
Senior Frontend Engineer (Vue.js/TypeScript): Building and modernising responsive customer- and campsite-focused web front-ends for a global outdoor-holiday booking platform with an accent on UX delivery, frontend architecture, and fast feedback loops. Focus on designing Vue.js interfaces, evaluating BFF and micro-frontend approaches, integrating APIs, and improving testing and development practices.
Location: 100% remote; work from home
Salary: £75,000–£82,000 per annum, depending on experience

What you will do
- Add features to the customer- and campsite-focused website using Vue.js and deliver production code quickly.
- Work with product and engineering colleagues to propose, design, and develop UI and UX improvements.
- Shape frontend architecture, including exploration of BFFs, micro-frontends, and Nuxt.js for newer projects.
- Contribute to technical design documents, architecture discussions, and development plans.
- Improve frontend development practices, code quality, testing, and delivery workflows.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience as a frontend developer, ideally in a scaling business.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building adaptive and responsive websites.
- Experience testing frontend code with frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or Chai.
- Knowledge of frontend workflow and tooling, including Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, or Yarn.
- Structured problem-solving, clear technical communication, effective prioritisation, and experience in an Agile development team.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the online travel agency sector.
- Understanding of modern frontend architecture, including the advantages and trade-offs of BFFs and micro-frontends.
- Experience working with internal and third-party APIs.
- A degree in a related discipline.
