What you will do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications that power interactions with AI-powered digital agents.
- Build conversational experiences supporting streaming responses, real-time and asynchronous interactions, structured content, forms, actions, files, and long-running operations.
- Develop reusable web components and embedded frontend capabilities for products and customer-facing websites.
- Partner with Product, UX, backend, AI/ML, and platform teams to define APIs, events, data contracts, and interaction patterns.
- Lead frontend architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews, complex production troubleshooting, and initiatives from concept through continuous improvement.
- Optimize performance, scalability, reliability, accessibility, security, analytics, telemetry, and observability across browsers, devices, and network conditions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including sophisticated frontend applications.
- Deep proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, browser technologies, frontend architecture, state management, accessibility, security, and performance.
- Experience with reusable components, RESTful APIs, asynchronous or event-driven experiences, automated frontend testing, CI/CD, observability, and distributed backend systems.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, mentor engineers, solve ambiguous problems, and collaborate across Product, UX, frontend, backend, AI/ML, and platform teams.
