Senior Mobile Software Engineer (Android)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Deliver features from technical design through release and post-launch iteration.
• Own Android releases, including signing, App Bundles, Play Console tracks, staged rollouts, pre-launch reports, and crash and ANR triage.
• Design scalable architecture covering modularization, dependency injection, navigation, state management, and internal Compose components.
• Integrate mini-apps, payments, virtual currency systems, REST/GraphQL APIs, and mobile SDKs.
• Establish mobile observability, automated testing, CI/CD, performance optimization, and AI-assisted engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Android development experience and deep hands-on Kotlin expertise.
• Commercial Android applications currently live on Google Play.
• Strong knowledge of Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow, Lifecycle, Room, WorkManager, Navigation, MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and state management.
• Experience with Android testing, CI/CD release pipelines, Gradle, Fastlane, performance profiling, memory and battery optimization, and fragmented device and OS-version landscapes.
• Daily professional use of AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools, including reviewing generated code and building effective evaluation and guardrail practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with widgets, deep linking, push notifications, background work, Kotlin Multiplatform, or Kotlin integration with React Native.
• Familiarity with Google Play Billing, alternative billing, gaming ecosystems, virtual currencies, in-app purchases, and digital commerce flows.
• Mobile security experience, open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference talks.
