Senior Software Engineer – Frontend (UI)

Location: Bengaluru, India. This is an onsite role requiring work from the Bengaluru office four days per week, with the possibility of five days per week based on business needs.

What you will do

• Rebuild and modernize web applications to improve performance, scalability, usability, and user experience.
• Build clean, maintainable, high-performance React interfaces and reusable UI components.
• Deliver features end to end, from design collaboration through deployment.
• Improve frontend architecture, engineering standards, testing strategies, CI/CD workflows, and code quality.
• Debug application issues, identify bottlenecks, and optimize frontend performance.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and QA teams while reviewing code and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• 6–9 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript, including types, generics, and reusable component patterns.
• Experience building scalable frontend applications and reusable UI components in product-based organizations.
• Experience with frontend debugging, performance optimization, modern tooling, package management, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and computer science fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Tailwind CSS or modern styling approaches; willingness to work onsite in Bengaluru is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with WebRTC, WebSockets, or other real-time communication technologies.
• React Native or mobile application development experience.
• Experience with state and data management libraries, monorepo tooling, modern frontend architecture, Storybook, or headless UI libraries.
• Experience contributing across web, mobile, or browser extension experiences.
• Experience using AI tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and engineering workflow efficiency.
