Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

Location: Poland; hybrid work with attendance at the assigned office at least 3 days per week, primarily Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

• Develop scalable, responsive frontend experiences for the homepage, navigation, collections, uploads manager, content metadata, search, and AI-enabled features.
• Modernize the large-scale web platform using React, TypeScript, an internal design system, and Module Federation.
• Improve performance, reliability, rollout health, build times, deployment frequency, and other engineering and user experience metrics.
• Strengthen CI/CD pipelines, automated quality gates, release processes, observability, and developer feedback loops.
• Replace manual QA with automated coverage using Playwright and other frontend testing frameworks.
• Contribute to engineering standards, use AI tools to accelerate development and triage, and participate in the on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience building and modernizing large-scale frontend applications.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and a modern frontend framework such as React, plus strong HTML/CSS skills.
• Strong understanding of state management, accessibility, performance, security, system design, and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD, safe rollouts, engineering metrics, Module Federation or federated frontend architectures, and frontend testing tools such as Playwright.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and services, with some backend coding in Node.js, PHP, or Java.
• Proficient English and availability to work from the assigned Poland office at least 3 days per week are required.

• Experience migrating design systems in mature enterprise applications.
