Platform Engineer (DevOps / Full-Stack Hybrid)

What you will do

• Deploy a production system across three network environments using Kubernetes.
• Design, establish, and document repeatable deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Modify and troubleshoot Java Spring back-end and Vue.js front-end components.
• Adapt configurations to environment-specific and network constraints.
• Diagnose issues across infrastructure, middleware, and application layers during system standup and stabilization.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software development, and systems engineering teams.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Vue.js, or a comparable front-end framework such as React or Angular.
• Thorough understanding of Docker and container technology.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, distributed web application deployments, Linux administration, and Git.
• Ability to work on-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with isolated or classified network environments.
• AWS cloud-native architecture and deployment experience.
• Terraform, Ansible, and Python scripting experience.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, NiFi, MongoDB, or government agency reporting and dissemination policies.
