Billing Operations Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Lisle, Illinois, United States; onsite

Advyzon Investment Management operates financial management workflows involving billing, fee calculations, reconciliations, and multi-custodian data.

What you will do

• Partner with Billing Operations to identify manual friction points and automate billing workflows.
• Maintain and enhance internal billing applications and user interfaces using Vue.js.
• Develop and support backend microservices and APIs with Ruby on Rails and C# .NET.
• Write and optimize PostgreSQL queries, scripts, and views for high-volume custodial data and fee reconciliations.
• Build data ingestion pipelines and API connections for custodian fee files, payment instructions, and account metadata.
• Design technical test plans and coordinate with Operations, Finance, Product, and Software Engineering.

Requirements

• Hands-on development experience with Ruby on Rails and/or C# .NET for APIs, batch processing, and business logic.
• Working knowledge of Vue.js or another modern JavaScript framework.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, including complex joins, stored procedures, query optimization, and schema management.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, SFTP, and custodial data feeds.
• At least 2–4 years of technical experience in financial operations, fintech, or data engineering, plus a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Onsite work in Lisle, Illinois, United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with advisory fee billing, portfolio accounting, multi-custodian platforms, or financial reconciliation logic.
• Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT.
