Staff Fullstack Engineer (Ruby/Vue.js) Monetization Engineering: Purchase

Location: Remote, Canada; Remote, United States. The posting also identifies the role as Remote-Global.

United States base salary: $152,800–$259,200 USD annually.

What you will do

• Design and build fullstack features across the purchase journey using Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• Lead technical design for unified purchasing capabilities and improve the customer purchase experience.
• Build reliable integrations with billing and CRM systems, including transaction processing and downstream workflows.
• Partner with Product, Design, Billing, and Support to deliver well-tested purchasing solutions.
• Set engineering standards for code quality, monitoring, incident response, and safe iterative rollouts.
• Mentor engineers, review merge requests, and reduce technical debt and architectural risk.

Requirements

• Professional fullstack engineering experience across frontend and backend development.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and Vue.js.
• Experience owning technical direction for a product area and driving iterative solutions.
• Experience with transactional or checkout-style flows, ideally in billing, ecommerce, or subscriptions.
• Clear written and verbal English communication for a largely asynchronous remote environment.
• Ability to work remotely from Canada or the United States according to the role listing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with third-party billing or CRM systems such as Zuora, Salesforce, or Stripe.
