Focus on architecting low-latency services, driving TDD and CI/CD practices, and mentoring engineers through high-velocity Agile delivery.

What you will do
- Lead the engineering team responsible for mission-critical payout APIs and core backend services.
- Design, build, and scale high-throughput, low-latency RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Own platform performance, security, availability, SLA compliance, and 24/7 reliability.
- Drive clean code, TDD, documentation, code reviews, CI/CD, monitoring, automated provisioning, and zero-downtime deployments.
- Mentor engineers and establish Agile practices including sprint planning, stand-ups, and pair programming.
- Partner with the Chief Architect, product management, and global engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring engineering teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong hands-on Golang experience building scalable backend systems and web services.
- Deep knowledge of relational databases, query optimization, and schema design, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Experience designing, building, and securing high-volume REST/JSON APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes, including EKS, plus willingness to work with Perl and legacy codebases.
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech or payments.
- Familiarity with Vue.js and JavaScript/TypeScript.
