Senior Full Stack Engineer

Location: Bend, Oregon, United States; onsite at the Administration Building. The role is not fully remote. Candidates outside Central Oregon should state their ability to relocate and their interest in the greater Bend area.

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack features from conception through production.
• Build and scale high-performance web applications and cloud-native services.
• Drive technical architecture decisions, conduct code reviews, and maintain standards for performance, security, and maintainability.
• Define robust RESTful or GraphQL API boundaries and optimize relational and non-relational databases for high availability.
• Collaborate with project management and cloud engineering partners to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor, motivate, influence, and train other engineers while improving delivery, observability, reliability, and application stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building complex, production-ready full-stack applications.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript and TypeScript with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Hands-on experience with backend technologies such as Node, .NET/C#, or Python and RESTful API design.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases and deployment experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree or formal industry-recognized certifications equivalent to a bachelor's degree.
• Ability to work onsite in Bend, Oregon, or relocate to the greater Bend area.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Next.js, or Vue, state management, responsive UI layout, and web performance optimization.
• Expertise in Node, Go, Python, or Java server-side ecosystems and scalable, idempotent APIs.
• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu, cloud infrastructure as code, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
