Software Developer, Ops Platform and Fraud Investigations (AI)

Location: Toronto, Canada; in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Base pay range: CAD 136,000–160,000 per year, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define technical direction and make architectural decisions for operational workflow systems across multiple product lines.
• Build tools that process large datasets and generate insights for fraud investigations and decision-making.
• Collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to automate manual review processes.
• Design and develop AI-based applications that improve the speed and accuracy of operational tasks.
• Improve system reliability, development velocity, and the speed of launching new capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience designing and scaling distributed systems with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Experience building and operating production applications using large language models or similar AI systems.
• Understanding of systems that manage model behavior and ensure consistent, reliable outputs.
• Experience with large-scale data pipelines and extracting insights from complex datasets.
• Ability to translate business processes into technical solutions with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
