Senior Software Engineer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Design and develop robust, secure, performant features for enterprise web-based systems.
• Break down customer requirements and implement solutions for complex business rules.
• Automate cybersecurity processes related to risk management, compliance, vulnerability management, and continuous monitoring.
• Modernize and refactor traditional web application components using current web and cloud technologies.
• Test functionality, document features, review code, and solve technical problems with analysts and engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and testing complex web application features.
• 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming such as C# or Java.
• 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript-based web development.
• 3+ years of production experience with high-scale relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, system administration, Docker or Kubernetes, and Windows Server.
• Secret clearance and eligibility for access to classified information are required. A bachelor's degree is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with .NET Core, Web API, IIS, MVC, LINQ, Entity Framework, React, or Vue.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, scripting languages, message brokers, or cloud migration.
• Top Secret clearance, a master's degree, or DoD 8570 IAT II certification such as Security+.
